JMI Insurance is an independent agency representing multiple licensed insurance carriers. We do not underwrite insurance policies ourselves but act as a broker to help clients identify, compare, and obtain coverage options from licensed and approved carriers.

Availability of products, eligibility, pricing, and coverage terms are subject to the underwriting guidelines and approval of each individual carrier.

2. Quote is Not a Guarantee of Coverage

Requesting a quote or completing a contact form does not constitute binding coverage. Insurance policies are not active until:

A complete application has been submitted,
All underwriting requirements have been satisfied,
A formal offer of coverage has been issued by the carrier, and
Acceptance of terms and premium payment has been received.

It is your responsibility to verify all coverage details and policy documents before assuming protection is in effect.

3. Regulatory Compliance

JMI Insurance operates in compliance with all applicable state and federal insurance regulations, including but not limited to:

Licensing requirements set by the Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)
Licensing requirements set by the Oregon Division of Financial Regulation (DFR)
Licensing requirements set by the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT)
Federal laws and consumer protection acts
Carrier-specific terms and policy guidelines

We only offer insurance in states where we are properly licensed and authorized to do so. If you are located outside our service area, we may be unable to assist with certain products.

4. Privacy & Data Protection

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of this website or any insurance policy purchased
